Welcome to this edition of Lymphoma Matters. In addition to the printed version of the magazine, this first edition of the year is being produced in a new digital format for those of you who choose to receive it via email. We hope you find it a lively and engaging way to access all of the news, information and personal stories contained in the magazine. We’d love some feedback from you about it, as well as Lymphoma Matters in general - could you spare five minutes to complete our short survey?
In this edition we have a range of personal stories. Thank you to everyone who chooses to share their stories with us, whether for Lymphoma Matters, our website or social media. We know how much personal stories resonate with others and show them that they are not alone in their experiences of lymphoma.
You’ll also note articles written by medical specialists, some of whom sit on our Medical Advisory Panel (MAP). We are delighted that so many people, including medical experts, volunteer their time and effort to support us, and that our own support for volunteers has been recognised in our Investing in Volunteers accreditation (see page 17).
Finally, you’ll find details of all of our upcoming regional lymphoma days and lots of fundraising activities and events like our flagship Bridges of London event. Each and every donation, however it’s raised, helps us to keep providing vital services and this magazine free of charge to people who need it.
