Goal one: Ensure that people understand lymphoma

“Five years post-treatment for low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma, I feel I can identify as neither 'fully recovered' nor 'actually ill'. Lymphoma Matters magazine helps me just feel 'normal for this community' and helps maintain my mental health and confidence.

We sent over 88,400 copies of our Lymphoma Matters magazine, and launched a brand-new digital version packed with useful information for people affected by lymphoma.

We distributed 28,240 copies of our information books to help people better understand their lymphoma diagnosis, treatment and living with and beyond their condition. Our health information pages also received 1.8 million views from people wanting to find out more about lymphoma.

We shared 44 personal stories on our website from people reflecting on their experience of lymphoma, and published 120 information blog posts providing updates on our activities, and in response to external health-related developments.

We maintained our PIF TICK accreditation following an annual re-assessment, demonstrating our provision of trusted health and care information.

“I was given a Lymphoma Action book by a nurse at my local hospital. Having some reliable information really helped to put my mind at ease over the first few weeks, which for me was the most difficult time.

Our Lymphoma Symptoms animation won an award in the People’s Choice category at the Smiley Charity Film Awards and has received over 50,000 views from people wanting to find out more about some of the common symptoms of lymphoma.

Our three animations translated into Punjabi, Polish and Romanian have received 1,350 views from launch to date.
