Looking ahead
When thinking about the range of services we offer, it is important that we have the right provision available at the right time. This way we meet the needs of our community along the ‘touchpoints’, those moments in their individual experience of lymphoma when people need to reach out to us for information and support. We hold ourselves to high standards of quality, accessibility and engagement with all those affected by lymphoma, and we will continue to be creative and to strengthen these going forward.
Some key focus areas for 2024:
- Further develop our peer support services and expand our suite of Online Support Meetings.
- Launch an educational resource for healthcare professionals new to lymphoma and provide continued support and resources to all healthcare colleagues.
- Provide information and support for people who have been recently diagnosed, are ending active monitoring, or have relapsed, through our new Preparing for Treatment service.
- Invest in the systems and processes which help us to do our jobs to the best of our ability.
We also look forward to reviewing feedback from the 1,205 people who responded to the 2024 Lymphoma Coalition UK patient experience survey, so we can continue providing the services they want and need. Against a backdrop of an ever changing and challenged healthcare environment we look forward to working with our community to make sure that no one has to face lymphoma alone.
